Martin, The Engineering Samples that you supplied as a first look is showing a weight savings over the Nylon machined parts that they replace. As a first look the parts are what we expected and you showed great abilities to work to the schedule. Your much valued interface with my design changes to the model has paid off; I welcomed all of your valuable input in regards to the efforts to mold thin walls with Valox 420 30% GR and/or the guidance to shell out the models. My 2 cents, for what it's worth. In my career I've probably made 100 different tooled plastic part designs, and I've only had 2 that were perfect the first time, this and the impeller that CEPI made last month. Also, Dyanna can tell you, we had originally intended to buy 100 hand-made cast parts to meet schedule, but we did not have to do so since CEPI was able to meet our requirement for 100 parts injection molded.
